À propos de l'événement
On February 11th, we celebrate the UN International Day of Women and Girls in Science! To mark this occasion, Den gjenfundne tid, under the banner of Reconciliation festival: Art and Science for a beautiful world, is partnering with the association "Dessine moi un mouton" and invites you to a unique event!
Over the next 2 weeks, children (9-17) will have the opportunity to prepare bibliographic sheets on female scientists during their French classes with their teachers. The sheets will be finalized and collected during the workshop on Saturday, February 10th. They will then be shared with the French association "La Main à la Pâte", whose co-founder Yves Quéré is the Reconciliation festival's godfather.
This will be a wonderful concrete collaboration to recognize women in science and inspire everyone to discover the joys of science.
For children who are not enrolled in the French class of "Dessine moi un mouton", it is possible to join this initiative by registering to the workshop via email (contact@reconciliation-festival.com). The sheets will then be created directly during the workshop with the assistance of our volunteers. Please indicate if your child has already identified a scientist and, if so, her name.
The workshop is free - just register by RSVP. Any question send us an email at contact@reconciliation-festival.com
The workshop will be in french but you are welcome to join the initiative in norwegian or english until 31.03.2024. We will post after the workshop a template and the list of scientists for guidance.
These woman scientists are already "taken" :
