Thank you to all who joined the beach cleaning action at Godalen in Stavanger for the opening day. This was a simple way to put in actions the words "Let's put the oceans first"!

Bravo to our young people, some had never danced before the day before! All went on stage after the breakdance and hiphop workshop led by Julien Boclé, artist-in-residence and Vanessa Livingston.

Thank you Stéphanie Kretz for organising the science workshop for the kids, inspired by Yves Quéré, Georges Charpak and Pierre Léna initiative, to put more practice and joy in the learnings of sciences at school.

Thank you Frédéric Vaysse-Knitter for this sumptuous programme of music by Debussy, Chopin, Grieg and Szymanovsky! Chopin ballade 4 in Stavanger will stay for ever in our memories.
Frédéric Vaysse-Knitter is from now artistic director of the festival, together with Stavanger-based cellist Ilmari Hopkins. We are looking forward seeing you back Frédéric!
